AUSLMAT Pedal Sri Lanka – August 2025

After months of dedicated effort by our teams in both Colombo and Melbourne, we are delighted to announce that everything is in place for the AUSLMAT Pedal Sri Lanka 2025. From 18–31 August 2025, 18 passionate participants will embark on an unforgettable two-week journey, covering over 350 km by bike and completing 18 km of the Pekoe Trail Stage 3 from Loolcondera to Thawalanthenna on foot.

This unique adventure will traverse half the island; from the sun-kissed west coast and the storied Cultural Triangle to the misty hill country, the wild deep south, and finally the historic southern capital of Galle. Along the way, our mission extends beyond exploration: three major hospitals in Colombo, Kandy, and Matara, along with two local communities, will be the primary beneficiaries of our fundraising goal of AUD 50,000.

The charitable initiative will be expertly managed and coordinated by the Australia Sri Lanka Medical Aid Team (AUSLMAT), ensuring that every contribution makes a tangible difference. We are proud to announce that this will now be an annual signature event on our calendar—combining the thrill of adventure with the power of giving.
