Armed with a qualification from Griffith University Australia in sustainable tourism, he has since been engrossed in sustainable tourism projects funded by Australia Awards. He is also a National Tourist Guide Lecturer under the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, specialising in Wildlife, Hiking, and Culture.
