Crack that shell!

For a small island, Sri Lanka has some amazingly varied and delicious cuisine and the best part is: you don’t have to travel too far to sample them. So even if you are in Colombo, you can find one of Northern Sri Lanka’s most famous dishes - the Jaffna Mud Crab Curry - quite easily! Made up of fragrant spices, chillies, toasted coconut flakes, coconut milk and, of course, succulent and juicy Mud Crabs, this dish will hook and reel you in with your first taste! Not surprisingly, in a country surrounded by the sea, good seafood is found everywhere. But a few, like this dish, stand out as signature dishes that should not be missed in any culinary adventure. Ideally paired with rice or Roast Paan (a version of Sri Lankan Bread), this dish will take you on a gastronomic journey to the North!
