Dear Trade Colleagues,

With the relaxation of many restrictions, Christmas was celebrated with much joy in Sri Lanka! It was a joyous occasion, as all communities momentarily forgot the difficulties of the last 2 years and just focussed on the good things in life. Christmas always has a way of making us believe things will be alright and we will carry that air of positivity to the New Year, where we hope we can finally say the worst is now behind us. With the relaxation of many restrictions, Christmas was celebrated with much joy in Sri Lanka! The faith that travellers are showing in Sri Lanka as a holiday destination is absolutely amazing and the number of arrivals are growing every day. This is a great sign for the travel trade and we’re overjoyed to see so many guests in the country after such a long time. So without further ado, let’s get going and escape to Coco’s warm embrace, get down and dirty with some muddy crabs, find out about empowered youth in Uva, and talk to our man Yasa for ideas on how we can work on reforestation!

I wish you and your clients an experiential journey, a prosperous New Year and look forward to seeing you soon.
